WellTree Psychology is committed to making its website and psychological services accessible and inclusive.
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable. These guidelines support websites that are easier to perceive, navigate, understand and use.
Accessibility Statement
We aim to provide:
-
clear headings and simple page layouts;
-
readable text and appropriate colour contrast;
-
descriptive links and image alternative text;
-
keyboard-accessible navigation where supported;
-
mobile-friendly pages;
-
clearly labelled forms; and
-
content that can be enlarged using browser zoom.
We also aim to reduce unnecessary visual clutter, animation and complex language.
Neurodiversity and cognitive accessibility
WellTree Psychology recognises that accessibility includes sensory, communication and cognitive needs.
We aim to present information clearly, use predictable page structures and explain clinical or administrative language where possible.
Please contact us if you require information in a simpler or alternative format.
Forms and online bookings
Our website is hosted through Wix, and online bookings and forms may be provided through Halaxy.
Some accessibility features depend on these third-party platforms.
Please contact us if you experience difficulty:
-
completing an online form;
-
making or changing a booking;
-
accessing an invoice;
-
using Halaxy; or
-
navigating the website.
We can assist by email or telephone where reasonably practicable.
Telehealth accessibility
Telehealth appointments are provided through Zoom.
Reasonable adjustments may include:
-
written instructions before the appointment;
-
additional time to join;
-
appointment breaks;
-
reduced sensory distractions;
-
attendance by an interpreter, caregiver or support person;
-
questions provided in advance;
-
use of Zoom chat where appropriate; or
-
written follow-up information.
Please tell us before your appointment if you require an adjustment.
Psychological assessments
Some psychological assessments must follow standardised procedures to maintain their validity.
We will consider reasonable adjustments where they do not compromise the accuracy or purpose of the assessment. These may include breaks, clearer instructions, reduced distractions or alternative response methods.
Documents and external content
Some PDF documents, external websites or third-party tools may not be fully accessible.
Please contact us if you cannot access a document or resource. Where possible, we may provide the information in another format, such as Word, plain text, enlarged text, email or telephone explanation.
